MADRE is a series of lamps conceived and designed by Ludovico Grantaliano from a shell. Like a diffuser, the mother-of-pearl creates unique and unpredictable shades and colours. The other parts, steel and electrical wiring, on the other hand, have an almost brutalist mechanical appearance. MADRE seeks a balance and symbiosis between the natural and the artificial world, each lamp is a unique piece.
